To pass the board examinations, students must receive D grade or above in each subject under SEE standards. Students must also receive satisfactory grades on their theory and practical exams. A student can only earn a passing certification if they receive an D grade or better in each topic included in a written test, unless they are exempt. If someone fails the theory or practical exam, the results of the outside tests will only be withheld for a year. A separate grade improvement for that topic must be taken if an applicant passes all theory exams but fails two of the Eight subjects on the external exams.
